UniGuide is built to keep student planning data useful without turning it into a black box. This page explains what we collect, how it is stored, and how you can remove it.
When you use UniGuide, we may store account details, profile fields, saved programs, essays, quiz answers, tracker notes, and other planning data you choose to enter. If you connect a Firebase account, that data may sync between your browser and your account cloud record.
UniGuide uses Google Analytics to understand how the site is used and to improve the product. We may log basic device and session information, page activity, and account-level usage signals. We do not intend to collect more than is needed for product improvement.
Some pages offer AI assistance. Text you submit to those tools may be sent to the model provider to generate a response. Do not enter sensitive personal, medical, or financial information unless you are comfortable with that data being processed by the service you chose to use.
UniGuide uses browser storage for offline support and Firebase for account-backed sync. Data you save may exist both locally on your device and in your account cloud record. If you sign out or switch devices, your browser copy and cloud copy may differ until they sync again.
UniGuide is intended for Canadian students in Grades 9โ12. If you are under the age of majority where you live, please review this with a parent or guardian before creating an account.
If you need help with privacy, data removal, or a feature on the site, contact the site owner through the support channel associated with UniGuide.
